How did Bellerose come into being?

The story of Bellerose began with passion, experience and adventure. In 1989, for Belgian entrepreneur Patrick van Heurck, all the pieces of the puzzle fell into place during a trip through the United States. His experience in the world of menswear, his fascination with technical craftsmanship, and a visit to a small village called Bellerose on Long Island (New York), were the inspiration to make his long-cherished dream come true.

It took almost another 10 years before the Bellerose clothing line for women was launched, designed by Laetitia van Gindertael. Four years later, a children's line was also added, making Bellerose a versatile brand for the whole family.
